Care Begins
with the Vaidya
In Ayurveda, the role of the Ayurveda physician (Vaidya) extends beyond identifying a health concern. Through careful consultation and assessment, the Vaidya seeks to understand the individual’s constitution, present state of balance, lifestyle and health needs.
This understanding guides the individual plan of care, including the selection of therapies, Panchakarma procedures, nutrition and lifestyle practices, with Yoga and meditation incorporated where appropriate. Care is reviewed and adapted according to individual needs and response.

Academic Engagement.
Where Practice Meets Learning.
Our Vaidyas are not only engaged in clinical care. They also contribute to teaching and learning at the SRHU School of Yoga Sciences.
This engagement with students and academics keeps their practice connected with continuous learning, dialogue and enquiry, strengthening the relationship between Ayurveda practice, Yoga and holistic wellbeing.
