Where Care Finds
the Right Environment

Clinical reassurance. Serene surroundings.

The Environment

An Environment Designed Around Care

Next to the Dehradun Airport, the Ayurveda Centre is located within the 200-acre green campus of Swami Rama Himalayan University, bringing together dedicated facilities for consultation, therapies, Panchakarma, Yoga, meditation, nourishment and residential care.

As a unit of Himalayan Hospital, the Centre combines the reassurance of an established healthcare institution with surroundings that allow individuals to slow down, rest and engage more fully with their programme of care.

The environment is not an amenity around the care — it is designed to support the care itself.

Consultation & Clinical Care

Where Every
Journey Begins

Dedicated consultation rooms provide a private and comfortable setting for interaction with the Ayurveda Physician (Vaidya), individual assessment and ongoing review.

Purpose-designed therapy and Panchakarma rooms support prescribed Ayurveda procedures in an environment centred on privacy, hygiene and attentive care.

An Ayurveda pharmacy provides convenient access to prescribed preparations and formulations during the course of care.

Nourishment

Food as Part of Care

During residential care, meals form an integral part of the individual’s daily routine.

A dedicated dining area serves meals aligned with the care plan, including therapeutic diets and Sattvic meals, where advised by the Vaidya.

Seasonal produce grown within the campus may also find its way from the Herbal Garden to the table, strengthening the connection between nature, nourishment and everyday wellbeing.

Yoga & Meditation

Space for Body, Breath & Mind

Our Yoga and meditation practices complement Ayurveda care, drawing upon the Himalayan tradition taught by H.H. Dr. Swami Rama, to help you cultivate greater balance, awareness and well-being.

Time Between Care

Room to Pause

Healing does not happen only during consultations or therapies. Our serene spaces invite you to sit, read, walk, reflect and simply be — allowing rest and reflection to become part of your care.

The Campus

200 Acres of Green & Quiet

The Centre’s location within the 200-acre green campus of Swami Rama Himalayan University gives residential care a distinctive setting.

Tree-lined pathways, open areas, the Herbal Garden and the natural surroundings of the Himalayan foothills offer opportunities for walking, reflection and connection with nature.

At the same time, being located within the Himalayan Hospital and University ecosystem places the Centre within a larger environment of healthcare, learning and knowledge.
